Guild Life Stories is a Hong Kong-based organization with over 20 years of history, specializing in the creation of Root Stories — deeply researched, richly crafted narratives about people’s lives that are passed down through generations. The project brings together professors, architects, and experts from the fields of education and culture.
Our team was tasked with translating the brand’s philosophy into the visual language of the website: a sense of slowness, depth, elegance, and humanity. The platform needed to serve both as a prestigious showcase and as a living media space.
We handled the full cycle — from concept and design to development and launch. We built the site’s visual identity around the brand’s aesthetics: restrained typography, generous whitespace, and a seamless blend of text and artwork. We delivered a blog and media section with regularly updated publications, team and founder pages with a tailored approach to each section, as well as a newsletter subscription form with email integration. The site is built on WordPress with a fully custom layout — no templates, no shortcuts.
The website reflects the client’s core values: a sense of unhurried time, attention to detail, and trust. The visual and structural decisions allow the audience to intuitively grasp the concept of Root Story — no lengthy explanations needed. The project went beyond a standard corporate website — it became a digital home for a philosophy twenty years in the making.
