About the ProjectAirplane Trade is an international platform for buying and selling aircraft: private planes, business jets, helicopters, turboprop and piston aircraft, and rare Warbirds. The platform features hundreds of active listings with prices, photo galleries, and technical specifications.
The challenge was ambitious: to build a professional marketplace in a niche where every deal runs into hundreds of thousands or millions of dollars. The site needed to inspire trust from the very first second and function as a fully operational tool for searching and selling aircraft.
We designed and built the marketplace from scratch on WordPress with a custom theme. We implemented a complex catalog system with filtering by category (jets, helicopters, turboprops, pistons, Warbirds, and more), manufacturer, and price range — with over 500 aircraft models in the database. We developed a listings system where each entry includes a photo gallery, specifications, price, and a contact form. We added an “Add Listing” feature with a personal seller account. Search by location, category, and keywords was integrated throughout. The site is SEO-optimized with dedicated pages for every manufacturer and model.
Airplane Trade turned out exactly as a serious marketplace in a premium niche should. A structured catalog with hundreds of listings, intuitive filtering, and a professional visual identity create the impression of a trustworthy platform — one that both buyers and sellers can rely on. Each manufacturer and model page acts as a standalone SEO entry point, driving organic traffic from highly specific searches like “King Air 350 for sale” or “Bell 407 helicopter buy.”
The project proves that a complex, fully functional marketplace can be built from the ground up — without off-the-shelf solutions, with complete control over architecture and design. The site works as a sales tool in a niche where a single deal can outweigh the cost of dozens of ordinary web projects.
